Tuesday Top Ten

Well, we have been having a little bit of a rough time around here recently. Poor miss Gemma has an ear infection, her first one ever!! And along with it, a cold and two more teeth coming in. That will be 8 teeth!~ This girl is getting them all out one after another. We just need a break!  So after 3 nights of no sleep and days of crying we are finally feeling better and getting some much needed rest.
So I decided to make a top ten list of things that Gemma and I have done today, just so I have a record that I'm not in my pj's and Pinterest all day! well, maybe my pj's ;)
1. Gemma learned a word! All day she has been saying BUP, BUP!  Can my smile get any bigger right now!? lol She said it and I just started whoo whooing and clapping my hands like she is the smartest baby to have ever lived! :) It means up, butterfly, i want that, and pretty much everything right now. :)

2. I worked out! finally did my 20 min workout while Gemma was asleep
3. I showered! yay!
4. Washed all the pots and pans, and ran the dishwasher
5. Washed, sorted, and stuffed all the diapers. Yes we cloth diaper, and I love it!
6. Read 4 books to Gemma today.. She loves being read to. She will sit in my lap and pat the pictures as I read.
7. Gemma rocked on her rocking butterfly, and she patted the buttons to make it sing! She can't push down on it yet, but she showed me what she wanted! Amazing :)
8. I dusted the basement.. Well, just the tv stand. but hey, I still dusted something!

9. Gemma got to play with her food today. I gave her some oatmeal on her tray and just let her go wild with it! She loved trying to smear it around and then tried to eat it off her fingers.
10. Laughed and played and diapered, and nursed my baby all day long!

Well, this is my exciting life!

Biting Help

Yes, I have a biter!! NOOOOOO!!!!! How in the world did I get a biter? Miss Gemma is always smiling and happy, and she laughs and giggles at everything. And then she will smile and bite you as hard as she can. If I tell her no, she looks right at me and laughs! WTH??!
My poor nephew who is only 3 months old got right in her way a few days ago. Gemma loves babies, every time she sees one she can't stop smiling and giggling, and tries to kiss them. :) It is so unbelievable cute, I can't help but to smile just thinking about it. But, as she was kissing, and kissing, and kissing her cousin... E and I kept telling my sister to watch out, b/c Gemma might bite him, and she said "oh, I'm not worried"... And then poor little Jack started screaming, and Gemma looked at me, she was so scared! We told her no, and that hurt Jack (yes we know she is 9 months and can't understand anything we are saying, but we had to do something) and then she laughed! OMG... sigh..
Does anyone out there have any tips? We tell her NO with a firm voice and I touch her cheek and tell her No Bite! That's how I got her to stop biting my nipples, but now she just bites me on my shoulder, my foot, my legs, pretty much anywhere she can. We are playing and she will scoot over to me and bite my belly! And she always laughs after. I just don't know what to do. I don't want her to turn into one of those bad kids that everyone knows is a biter.
I'm pretty sure she's not teething again. I mean she has 4 teeth on top now and 2 on the bottom, so there is just no way she could be getting more teeth in already, right? And I'm trying to figure out if she is biting for a certain reason ... tired, hungry, mad, ect. But so far there doesn't seem to be a pattern to it at all. I think she just likes it!
Seriously any advice would be awesome, I don't know whats wrong with this girl!

Return of the Awesomeness!!!

Yeah, I said it... I'm awesome! lol I'm sure you all have been dying to hear from me, and now that I have come back, you can relax and enjoy life again! ( ;
Oh, to finally be back to blog land. I apologize for my long absence and behavior. I'll make this short and sweet, I was NOT with it!!! My hormones made me someone else, for a very long time. And getting my thyroid back in order has been not so easy. So, from the moment I got pregnant till about a month or so ago, I have just not been me. That's all I'm going to say about that right now.

I have lots of updates on Ms Gemma. She is 9 months old right now, and oh so sweet! I think I'll make that another post.

Whats up with this weird blogger + thing? Not sure I want to go for that.
I will be trying to catch up with all your blogs, and hopefully someone will actually read this!

I think I want to change the layout of my blog, and maybe the name of it? I mean, my life is changed shouldn't my blog? hmmmm... just a thought.

Anywho... I hope this finds you all well, and I can't wait to get back to blogging!!!

Good night!
